Datu Alipio is said to be the first Haring Aswang. He and his tribe were previously human until they found Peru-ha in a stone inside a cave in Homonhon. Peru-ha transformed them into the first aswangs and they in turn worship her as a goddess. He was slain by Datu Bangaraw after their clash.
